Sir Christopher Edward NolanCBE (born 30 July ) is a British-Americandirector, producer and screenwriter. He often works with his brother, author Jonathan Nolan. Nolan rose to prominence for directing the psychological thrillerMemento, and for reviving the Batman movie franchise as the director of The Dark Knight Trilogy.
