Benedict was born February 10, , in Pretoria, province of Gauteng, the daughter of a retired teacher, and a medical doctor.[1] She has two siblings, Nkoni and Abel Benedict.[2][3] Benedict graduated from Pretoria Technikon (Now known as Tshwane University of Technology), where she started acting.[4]
