The Housemaid is an upcoming American psychological thriller film directed by Paul Feig, starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried with Michele Morrone and Brandon Sklenar.

Production

The film is directed by Paul Feig and produced by Todd Lieberman for Hidden Pictures. Feig and Laura Fischer are also producing. It is an adaptation by Rebecca Sonnenshine of the novel by Freida McFadden.

In October , Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried were reported to be leading the cast and executive producing alongside McFadden and Alex Young.[1][2]

Filming

Principal photography began on January 3, , in New Jersey, and it is expected to wrap on February [3][4]

Release

The Housemaid is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 25, [5]
